About Snout & Brim

I'm Dennis. I make custom pet hats by hand in Paphos, Cyprus. That is the whole company. There is no team, no warehouse, and no factory.

It started with my own dog, Ragnar. I wanted a hat with his face on it, the kind you see in shops with a lion or a bear on the front, except I wanted it to be him. Nobody made that. So I worked out how to make it myself, and once I had one, other people started asking for theirs.

How it works

You send me a photo of your pet. I create three different portrait versions and email them to you, usually within two working days. You pick the one you like, or you tell me what to change and I do it again. There is no limit on revisions and no extra charge for them.

Nothing gets made until you say yes. If you decide at any point before that you would rather not go ahead, I refund you in full. No forms, no questions.

Once you approve, I make your patch, attach it to the cap by hand, pack the box, and post it. Every hat that leaves here has been through my hands.

Why it is made this way

You could get a printed photo on a cap for less money from a factory overseas. It would arrive in three weeks looking like a printed photo on a cap.

I make one at a time because a pet is not a stock image. Getting the eyes right, or the exact patch of white on a chest, is the difference between a hat someone wears and a hat someone puts in a drawer. That takes attention, and attention does not scale.

Being honest about where I am

Snout & Brim is new. I do not have thousands of reviews or a wall of customer photos, and I am not going to invent them. What I have is the work itself, my own hands, and a guarantee that if your hat is not right I will remake it or refund you.
